Following a preliminary investigation, MUPD officers have confirmed that two shots were fired on campus near Traditions Plaza. No injuries have been reported, and MUPD continues to investigate the situation. There is no current threat to campus.
Police are searching for a suspect who is described as black male with dreadlocks, 5'7", 160 pounds, and wearing a white shirt. He was last seen driving a white, four door vehicle, with a partial license plate of W93 Z.
