Columbia Police continue their investigation and have taken into custody two of the three suspects. The third suspect has not been located. The only description of the suspect not in custody is a younger black male, dark clothing, wearing a dark colored hoodie and possibly wearing a back pack. The female victim was not injured. Columbia Police and MUPD will continue to search the area for the third suspect. No further updates are expected at this time.
2:50 a.m.
Columbia Police officers have detained two of the three male suspects in the area of University Avenue and Blair Court and are still searching for a third male suspect. Early information is that the suspects approached the victim on foot and stole items from her.
2:40 a.m.
The Columbia Police Department is working a robbery that occurred near Williams Street and University Avenue. They are searching for several suspects that ran from the scene of the robbery. No weapon was reported used in the robbery. Up to three suspects ran west and south from the scene of the robbery and are believed to be in the East Campus area.
