Further investigation has determined that the sexual assault occurred at an off campus location. The Columbia Police were contacted and are now leading the investigation. MUPD will continue to assist CPD and the victim.

MUPD continues the investigation of the reported sexual assault. Preliminary information is that the victim and suspect met earlier in the evening prior to the assault. The investigation will continue and anyone with information about the assault is encouraged to call MUPD. No further updates to this website are expected at this time.

MUPD has just received a report of a sexual assault that occurred at approximately 3am in an outside area of the 500 block of Kentucky Blvd. At this time the only suspect description is that of a white male and was driving a dark colored vehicle. As more information is received, this site will be updated.
