2:22 p.m.  MU Alert – Columbia Police are investigating subject with a gun at or near Nifong and Buttonwood Rd, possibly headed southwest. Urgent!  Stay away or leave the area.

2:32 p.m. MU Alert Update: Subject is black male in late teens, with dreadlock style hair wearing a yellow-hooded sweatshirt, puffy black coat and is barefoot. He was last seen heading west toward Providence Road.

2:39 p.m. MU Alert Update: Police continue to work the scene of a subject with a gun near Nifong and Buttonwood Rd.  No reported injuries. Stay away from area. Update to follow.

2:46 p.m. MU Alert update: ALL CLEAR. Subject taken into custody. No reported injuries. Campus operating under normal conditions. ALL CLEAR
