Due to the predicted severe winter weather, University of Missouri operations for the MU campus and UM System offices will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. Additionally, all classes will be canceled for the rest of the day and evening. However, the university community is encouraged to regularly check official sources of university information, including MU Alert: mualert.missouri.edu. Officials will announce any extension of the closure in the event road or campus conditions continue to be poor.

Anyone traveling is encouraged to check road conditions through the Missouri Department of Transportation.
